Hospitality Harvest Initiative
Recognizing the need in our community, we sought to leverage our connections to create positive change. We knew the hospitality industry frequently disposes gently used items such as towels, bedding, and toiletries. Our connections in the community helped us identify non-profits that could benefit from these items.
Serving as the unifying change agent, Florida Destinations launched the Hospitality Harvest initiative in March 2017. In its inaugural year, we collected and donated over 3,000 slippers, pillows, towels, and jackets. We are excited to continue to grow this initiative and to strengthen the relationship between our industry partners and the community.
Thank you to our Hospitality Harvest hotel donors:
Marriott Tampa Waterside | Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay | Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach | Westin Harbour Island

Dear Gina,
“Thank you for the many hours you spend as a Guardian ad Litem. Your hard work is appreciated by both the children you help and the community you inspire. When you work hard to make sure that a family creates a safe home environment for their children, you have done the wonderful work of a child advocate.”
